Jasni Jafferi was born in Alor Setar in 1994 and educated at Sultan Abdul Hamid College, Alor Setar. His earliest exposure to music began at the tender age of 15, when he enlisted to be part of the Sultan Abdul Hamid College Marching Band, playing the clarinet also as a drum major. He then went to obtain his Diploma in Music from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), majoring in clarinet under the tutelage of Mohd Yusran Mohd Yusoff. Then, he went to pursue his degree at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) majoring in Music Performance (Clarinet) under the guidance of Kenny Lim and Julian Ong.
